Fairness for Fire Victims (FFV) is a grassroots coalition of California wildfire survivors and allies fighting to ensure full recovery for all California wildfire victims and fight back against efforts to weaken protections for fire victims.

After nearly a decade, tens of thousands of survivors of for-profit utility-caused fires across California are still waiting to fully recover. The Fire Victim Trust — established to repay PG&E fire victims — is projected to be $6 billion short of what is owed, and survivors are still waiting on 30% of what they lost.

Meanwhile, California’s for-profit utility companies continue to earn record-setting profits.

And the fires have not stopped. Despite over a decade of negligence and destruction, California’s for-profit utilities are working overtime to find ways to shield their profits from liability when their equipment starts fires. This is unacceptable. Stand with FFV to fight for accountability, full recovery, and an end to the negligence that keeps causing harm.
